· Development, recommendation, implementation, monitor and evaluate the operational apprenticeship policies
· Support and enhance the programs by continuing to update to the industry’s technical standards
· Make recommendations to the ABC Institute staff relative to changes in acts affecting apprentices

The Ambassador Committee comes together to assist the Membership Committee by meeting with New Members as an official representative of ABC.

The Education and Leadership committee comes to together to identify and meet the membership needs on the topics below:

o Addresses all safety related services, education, and training

o Addresses all environmental services, education and related needs
Events and Community Service

The Events and Community Service committee comes together to plan and improve our events so that they will benefit the members of ABC. They will also explore new and various ways to help our members develop business relationships. ABC has always been involved in our Communities and this committee will hone and explore current and new ways to better our involvement.
Industry Collaboration

The Industry Collaboration Committee is dedicated to identifying instances where ABC can work with other industry and business groups on efforts that are mutually beneficial for all involved. These instances can include, but are not limited to, networking, special events, and legislative and policy issues.

This committee drives the legislative agenda for the chapter and discusses, among other things, federal concerns, state legislative priorities, local legislative priorities, political endorsements, grassroots/grasstops, public relations and fundraising.

The Miami-Dade Council is an advisory body that meets monthly to provide guidance and leadership to ABC and its presence in Miami-Dade County. The Council body is established annually.
